Hi Guys!
Happy Holidays, I hope your Christmas/Hanukkah/Thanksgiving or whatever else you have celebrated has been amazing.
I know it's been a while, but life has just been crazy for me at the moment!
so, quick update;
- I recently turned 21
- I am in my second year of a Broadcast Journalism Course at NTU
- I've grown to 5ft 1"
- I'm in the University production of 'Grease the Musical'
So! lets begin with turning the big TWO ONE.
I turned 21 on the 20th of October 2014, and if i'm honest, i don't feel any different haha! everyone always expects it to be this big, coming of age moment and everything you couldn't figure out would finally make sense...
HA!
I'm still the exact same if i'm honest with you!
I still have a weird obsession with unicorns, I can still name all of the friends characters and who they dated and I still like wearing 'experimental' clothing. As well as all of this, I still have absolutely no idea what a grown up is supposed to be like!
Anyway, on my birthday I had an absolutely lovely day! I went back home to Chingford in East London and spent my day with my family, I received so many wonderful and thoughtful gifts including Pandora bracelets including flights to America for me and Rhys to see my extended family in June!
After I had traveled back to Nottingham, I was greeted at the front door by my absolutely bestest friends ( who are also my housemates) who had blown up balloons, decorated the hallway in our house and had gotten me and my friend Ashley (who was also turning 21) a cake. I have honestly never felt so loved in my life.
Then of course came the party! Here are some of my favourite snaps!
Now! Moving on to University!
I haven't blogged in so long I haven't updated you all on uni life!
University is absolutely amazing and I honestly urge anyone who has doubts about it, to just bite the bullet and do it anyway. I have met some of my best friends who I can't even imagine my life without now, I have done some ridiculous things and made some even more ridiculous fancy dress outfits and have made the best memories. The course is everything I imagined it to be, but far harder in second year with a lot more work and exams to put in, so anyone who thinks they can just coast it, don't do broadcast :)
I'm also currently taking part in the University production of 'Grease'. It is so so much fun! The audition process was terrifying and being sort of shy sometimes (shocking I know) I was honestly crapping myself a little bit. BUT I have so amazed at how nice everyone was! and now the rehearsals are what I look forward to most weeks. so if anyone fancies it, Grease is taking place at Nottingham Arts theatre on the 24th and 25th of April 2015, come along one and all.
Being a camera whore, here are my favourite Uni memories!
So that's basically summed up the last year and a half in pictures, so i'm going to leave you guys with some pictures I've taken on my Canon 550D recently, and I promise to start writing more!
Merry Christmas and I hope you all have a happy New Year!
